When I decided it was time for me to purchase my first home, I completely understood that I had no idea what I was in for. I just knew it. I mean, I knew that I wanted to buy a home but I also knew that I was completely clueless about the entire process. I did what I could to educate myself in the home buying process as best I could but I suspected that whatever I thought I knew probably wasn't going to be enough. So fully aware of my shortcomings, I decided that I needed help. I needed a real estate agent. But not just any real estate agent, I needed to find someone who would have a quality that probably isn't really associated with the real estate field. I needed to find someone who was*patient.
Believe it or not, I found Norma through a cold call. I literally picked her name off a list and dialed the phone. I was very straightforward with her when we first spoke. I told Norma quite frankly what I was looking for. I let her know that I wanted a home but had absolutely no clue on how to get one. I told her that in all honesty, I needed someone who would be willing to hold my hand through the whole process. I needed someone who would be willing to answer my dumb questions. I needed someone who would be willing to answer the same dumb question 20 times. Probably in the same conversation too. Instead of hanging up on me like I fully expected, Norma said she could help me.
And let me tell you, I was blessed to have found Norma. That's the word I'd use.Blessed. She went above and beyond to answer all my dumb questions. I mean, ALL of them. She was always there for me when I needed help. She was there to talk me through every step of the process. She explained to me what I was doing, when and why. She could not have been more helpful. She also gave me her absolute honest opinions on a lot of places which was relief. What I mean is, she wasn't trying to just sell me a place so she could move on to another customer, she was helping me to find the right place for ME. She even went as far as talking me out of one place that I was just going to settle on. And considering that the place that I eventually bought was much bigger (and much cheaper) then the other place, you have no idea how grateful I am that she took the time to look out for my best interests.
I can say with absolute certainty that without her help, without her friendship, without her dedication, my soon-to-be-wife and I would not be in our home now. I'm sure that we'd be in a place not nearly as nice and we'd be paying much more for it. Norma comes with my highest possible recommendation.

Norma is by far the best realtor I have worked with over the years. I came across her name and phone number as I was passing a property that was for sale in my old neighborhood. She was so positive and professional on the phone that I immediately asked her if she would help me find a home to purchase. I had been working with a few realtors and they were so pushy and condescending that it was not pleasant to deal with them. Norma, on the other hand, listened to what I had to say, took interest in my ideas and concerns and most importantly, she would not let me settle! She said to me a few times, " I can find you something better!" I listened to her, thank goodness, and she found me the MOST AMAZING HOUSE in such a nice neighborhood. I did not have to settle. Instead, she got me into a better neighborhood (one I might not have considered on my own), into a better house and I can't even tell you how happy I am that I listened to her.
She was great during the buying process - easy to get a hold of and very involved with the other realtor. After the sale went through (with no problems), she kept in touch with me to make sure that any of the issues that needed to be resolved by the seller were in fact taken care of. I still keep in touch with her. I like to thank her again and again for finding me my house. She is a terrific person and she REALLY KNOWS HER STUFF! I highly recommend her.

Congratulations on considering the best realtor in the world to represent you! Words cannot describe how happy we were with the service Norma provided to us. As complete neophytes, and with difficult sellers, we required a lot of assistance. Norma was amazing. We had intended to use a realtor recommended by friends, but we called Norma's office to inquire about houses listed with her agency. We were so impressed with her at our first meeting we decided to go with her as our realtor. From day one it felt like we were her only clients, quite an accomplishment on her part, as she is a busy lady. She informed us of new listings immediately, worked with our schedules to show us houses, and returned our (many, many) phone calls within minutes every time. She helped us find the perfect house for our family. In our case, the sellers were not very cooperative in completing work they had promised to do on the house before we moved in. Also, their new house wasn't ready and they informed us they would be moving out on a date of their choosing, and that the termite tenting would occur after closing. Thank goodness for Norma! We were beside ourselves but Norma knew just how to handle things. The house was tented and they moved out before closing. The day we moved in we realized they had not made some minor repairs as promised. Our neighbors were amazed, as were we, to see our realtor in the middle of our back yard on her cell phone demanding the work get done. Her commission was a done deal, we were moved in, the repairs were minor, but she would not rest. Norma told us that as our realtor she was committed to us until we were completely satisfied. Needless to say, everything was taken care of to our satisfaction. We have referred many friends to Norma and we are happy to recommend her to you. When my husband & I decided to purchase a home, Norma was the first realtor we spoke with, & we never needed to speak with anyone else.
We were expecting our first child & had a real, tangible deadline to meet for getting into a home. We wanted to be settled before the baby came. Being a mother, Norma knew what we needed. First of all let me say that Norma is a great real estate agent. My brother and I were looking a house or townhouse last year. Norma worked relentlessly on finding us the best place for our money and for us. She went the extra mile for us as I imagine she would do the same for you. I have no complaint s about Norma at all. We were 1st time homebuyers and even though I work in the banking industry and my brother in the computer field, we still needed advice and council and we got that from Norma. Norma pointed out the not so obvious and made sure that we understood everything along the way. She stayed late when I couldn’t get off work early to sign loan documents. Even as I was in another state late last year, my brother and Norma found the cutest townhouse. She faxed to my hotel some paperwork that was needed to place a bid in for the property. We both know that’s her job, but Norma is different…she wants you to get the best house for the right price and in the right area. We both felt comfortable with Norma and on several occasions and when time permits we all go out to dinner and catch up with each other’s lives.
Secondly, Norma as a person is fantastic. She is a wonderful, hard-working woman. She makes time for you and gives undivided attention to clients, friends and family. After the purchase of our new home, we still had some questions regarding insurance ect and even though OUR business was concluded with Norma she took time out of her busy schedule to answers our questions. Both my brother and I felt very at home and comfortably with Norma….and we even invited her to our housewarming.
I hope you decide to go with Norma as your real estate agent…she’s very competent and has very good report with her clients and others.
